Our Mission

It is our mission to provide a safe and loving home for Non-Native companion and pet Invertebrates in the Pacific Northwest region.  Invertebrates fall under but are not limited to Tarantulas, Scorpions, Millipedes, Centipedes, Beetles, Walking Sticks, Roaches, Snails, Slugs, Etc et al.   We will accept all manner of pet invertebrates that are not captured and removed from the Pacific Northwest ( Washington , Oregon , Idaho ) region’s natural environment.  We endeavor to provide quality husbandry and care for each invertebrate we receive as a rescue.  Collectively, we share over 16 years in proper invertebrate care.

We feel strongly that any animal as a pet deserves the same loving care you provide any other companion.  All creatures deserve respect, preservation, proper care and husbandry, and love.   Even the ones many consider to be too “creepy or unusual”.  As such, we endeavor in every instance to provide education regarding our companions and loved ones to any agency willing to allow us to demonstrate our inverts.  In the past, we have demoed animals for Children’s Celebrations, Birthdays, Classrooms, Churches, Science Exhibitions and with our own local Oregon Herpetological Society.  We understand that not everyone appreciates our animals in the same way we do.  But the most sure method to begin combating fear is to educate others.  A passion we solidly share with other reptile and exotic animal rescues nationally.
